Fixed Window — Slim Frame

A non-opening lite in the shallowest frame in the collection, so less aluminum shows around the glass.

Best for: Smaller fixed openings, transoms and window runs where the detail calls for the thinnest sightline.

Overview

The 86 Series carries a shallower frame than the 100, which is what you want when the detail calls for the thinnest visible aluminum and the opening is modest. It shares the same impact glazing and finish range as the rest of the collection, so a slim-frame fixed unit sits beside a 100 Series slider without a visual break in the elevation.

Configurations

  • Single unit

One lite in a stand-alone frame.

  • Ribbon

Coupled horizontally for a banded window run.

  • Transom

Fixed lite above a casement, awning or door.

Glazing

  • Impact Laminated (standard)

Heat-strengthened lites with a structural interlayer. Large and Small Missile Impact, HVHZ approved.

  • Low-E Insulated

Insulating unit with a solar-control coating to reduce heat gain without dimming the view.

  • Acoustic Laminated

Thicker interlayer tuned for airport, highway and dense urban sites.

  • Tinted & Reflective

Grey, bronze and blue-green body tints, or a reflective coating for west-facing elevations.

Finishes

  • Class I Anodized

Clear, champagne, medium bronze and black — a hard, integral finish for coastal exposure.
