Best for: Ventilation that keeps working through a shower — above counters, under fixed glass, in bathrooms.

Overview

An awning is hinged at the head and swings out at the sill, so the sash itself sheds water and the window can stay open through a shower. It is the standard choice above a counter, low on a wall beneath fixed glazing, or in a bathroom where privacy and airflow both matter. The 86 frame keeps the unit visually quiet.
